Fiber can help flatten your stomach and improve your abs because it helps with digestions. Leafy green vegetables are a great source of fiber and are also low in calories. Since you will want to be eating a lot of vegetables to help you stay lean, you may as well focus on the ones that are full of fiber. Broccoli, kale, cabbage, collard greens and spinach are all great examples of leafy greens that are high in fiber.

Avoid Sugar

Sugar not only contains a lot of calories; it also stops your metabolism from working properly. Your metabolism is what transforms calories into energy and if it isn’t working, you aren’t burning calories and could be gaining weight. Sugar is often found in the food and drinks you least expect. Make sure you read the nutrition labels on anything you eat or drink and avoid those with too much sugar.

Jog Or Run

If you want to strengthen your abs and be able to notice your ab muscles, you need to burn off all the fat on your body and around your midsection. This can take time and patience and a lot of exercise. You should run or jog to get your heart rate up and burn calories. The more you run and jog, the more calories you will burn and the more weight you will lose. You will begin to notice your midsection is looking lean and eventually you will notice your ab muscles.

Exercise

There are many exercises that focus on the abs and stomach muscles and you will need to do some of them every day or several days a week if you want to see results. Crunches, planks, hip raises, and knee lifts are great ways to strengthen your abs and build your muscles. You can also get creative and come up with your own exercises that will improve your core muscles.

Working on your physical fitness will help you get healthier both physically and mentally. If you want to get into shape and improve the strength of your abs, the above tips can help. Remember the more you exercise, the stronger you will become. Everyone wants rock hard abs, but not everyone is willing to work for them. Ian Dewson Goes for Associates Degree in New Jersey

Ian Dewson’s decision to study for his Associates Degree in Business Administration was a quest for a post-secondary 2-year degree focusing on managing business operations and processes. Dewson’s Associates Degree was taken at Rowan College of Burlington County, New Jersey, where the program is a 24-month study. However, some academic institutions offer business administration programs with 18 month longevities, and there are also programs for students who intend to progress to bachelor’s degrees which combine associates level courses with bachelor’s level courses in a three-year program.

Ian Dewson

Curriculums for Associate Degrees in Business Administration vary somewhat depending on the length and intent of the program. There will likely be general education programs such as entry-level college preparation in math, English, composition and science. Specialized courses will also be required with a focus on business. These will include administration instruction, accounting, finance, leadership, ethics, human resources and other business related topics. Those who wish to specialize in an area of business may opt for courses in human resources concentrations, finance or accounting, or even business administration. Most community college programs offer full and part time studies, as well as online programs which are created for the individual student’s needs.

Ian Dewson chose Rowan College of Burlington College for his Associates Degree studies, an accredited school which ensured that his education would be recognized and pertinent to his chosen field. Rowan College of Burlington County was chosen by Dewson because it fit his academic ability, professional goals and personal preference for a campus where he felt comfortable. Students should always research the class sizes, the credentials of faculty, the range and quality of facilities and other resources which will have a direct effect on the educational experience. Of importance to future employers is name recognition of the academic preparation facility, and of importance to the student are the cost, curriculum and career placement possibilities.

Rowan College at Burlington County boasts Laurel Hall, with a third floor rotunda student lounge and a large multi-use classroom. The first floor will soon become the Liberal Arts College at Rowan College at Burlington County. Adjacent to Laurel Hall, the Technology & Engineering Center offers a library and cafeteria, classrooms and faculty offices, a student lounge and facilities for robotics, CADD, electronics, physics and computer labs. The Science, Math and Technology division will soon open in the new Science Building. The campus of the original Burlington Community College has changed markedly since Ian Dewson attended, with facilities and resources that are state of the art. The new Enterprise Center at Rowan College at Burlington County is intended for the hosting of corporate seminars and conferences, special performances and other one-of-a-kind events in its auditorium which also offers videoconferencing.

Ian Dewson and Healthy Eating for Weight Training

Fitness expert and future personal trainer, Ian Dewson, knows that weight trainers require more nutrition. While a proper diet is important for everyone, those who are attempting to add muscle mass have different things to consider than those who are simply trying to stay fit or lose weight. Building muscle means that the body needs specific fuels. Eating for weight loss will not ensure those fuels are eaten at the right quality or quantity. To achieve great weight training results, a person needs to ingest the correct amounts of fat, carbohydrates, fluids, and proteins. Weight training and weight lifting is stressful for the body and the mind. To combat that stress, it is vital that each person takes in the needed energy and fuel to keep their body going in a healthy and safe direction.

Ian Dewson

When you are trying to build muscle mass, it is crucial that you never skip a meal. For the most effective fueling, you should eat three solid meals each day, plus additional snacks that are high in protein and complex carbohydrates. Eating fats are important, but those fats should be a part of your three major meals, not your snacks. The meal that you eat right after your weight training workout is the most important. Consider that when you lift weights, you are burning most of the fuels that your body has stored. Ian Dewson says the food that you eat after your workout refuels your body for proper muscle building.
